Delivery Information
At Floor Land, we work hard to provide a fast, reliable, and cost-effective delivery service throughout the UK. Most orders are delivered within 1–3 working days, allowing you to start your flooring project as quickly as possible.
Delivery costs are automatically calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, and quantity of products ordered.
Free Delivery on Orders Over £750
We offer FREE standard delivery to mainland UK on most orders over £750.
Our flooring is delivered using specialist flooring and pallet haulage networks to ensure your order arrives safely and securely. Unlike standard parcel deliveries, pallet shipments require specialist transport due to their size and weight.

- Orders over £750 – Free delivery*
- Orders under £750 – £49.99 delivery charge
Small Orders
Orders valued at £399 or less may incur a delivery charge of £69.99 due to the increasing costs associated with transporting low-volume pallet deliveries.
Large Plank & Wood Flooring Deliveries
Some products require larger pallets due to their dimensions. This includes:
- Engineered Wood Flooring
- Solid Wood Flooring
- Extra-long plank laminate flooring
- Extra-long plank luxury vinyl flooring
These products may incur an additional delivery charge of £79.99 per pallet due to the increased space required during transportation.
Any additional charges will be displayed during checkout where applicable.
Deliveries Outside Mainland UK
Deliveries to:
- Scottish Highlands
- Scottish Islands
- Northern Ireland
- Isle of Wight
- Isle of Man
- Channel Islands
- Other remote UK locations
may incur additional carriage charges.
Due to the significant cost differences between regions, we strongly recommend contacting our team before placing your order so we can provide an accurate delivery quotation.
In some remote areas, delivery costs can exceed the value of smaller orders. If this occurs, we may need to contact you to discuss alternative delivery options or issue a full refund if delivery is not commercially viable.

Delivery times may vary depending on product availability, supplier location, weather conditions, and carrier schedules.
Order Tracking
Most flooring orders are delivered on pallets via specialist haulage companies rather than parcel couriers.
As a result, live tracking is not always available.
However, we will:
- Send a delivery confirmation email prior to dispatch
- Notify you of your expected delivery date
- Provide an estimated 2–3 hour delivery window where available
If you require an estimated arrival time, please contact us before 9:00am on your scheduled delivery day and our team will do their best to assist.
Local Delivery Service
Customers located within approximately 30 miles of our Warrington showroom may be eligible for our local delivery service.
Local Delivery Charges
- Orders under £500 – £40 delivery charge
- Orders over £500 – FREE local delivery

Sample Deliveries
Choosing the right flooring is important, which is why we encourage customers to order samples before purchasing.
Sample Delivery Charges
- Hard Flooring Samples – £3.99
- Carpet Samples – £1.99
Samples are normally dispatched within 24 hours when in stock and are sent via Royal Mail 2nd Class, with delivery typically taking 2–3 working days.
Delivery Access Requirements
Flooring orders are delivered kerbside only.
This means:
- The driver will deliver your order to the nearest safe access point.
- Customers are responsible for moving the flooring into their property.
- Deliveries may be made using vehicles ranging from small vans to 18-tonne lorries.
If your property has restricted access, narrow roads, steep driveways, or any potential delivery difficulties, please contact us before placing your order.
Pallet Deliveries
Most flooring orders are shipped on wooden pallets to protect the products during transit.
Please note:
- Pallets remain the property of the customer once delivered.
- Pallets cannot normally be collected after delivery.
- Customers are responsible for pallet disposal.
Before Booking Your Installer
We strongly recommend that you do not book flooring installers until your goods have been received and checked.
While we work hard to ensure every delivery arrives on time, factors outside our control can occasionally cause delays. Floor Land cannot accept responsibility for installation costs, fitting charges, or any consequential losses arising from delayed or damaged deliveries.
Missed Deliveries
Please ensure someone is available to accept your delivery on the agreed delivery date.
If a delivery cannot be completed because nobody is available to receive the goods, redelivery charges will apply.
Redelivery Charges
- £49.99 per failed delivery
- Or £0.89 per kg for shipments over 29kg
Damaged or Missing Goods
Please inspect your order carefully upon delivery.
If any items are damaged or missing:
- Clearly note the issue on the driver's delivery paperwork before signing.
- Take photographs where possible.
- Contact Floor Land immediately.
Large pallet deliveries can occasionally sustain damage during transportation, so it is important that any issues are reported at the time of delivery.
Failure to report visible damage upon receipt may affect our ability to process a claim with the carrier.
Wood Flooring Acclimatisation
Engineered wood and solid wood flooring must be acclimatised before installation.
Please ensure you follow the manufacturer's guidance regarding storage, acclimatisation periods, and installation conditions before fitting your flooring.
